Who is responsible
Samuel Omanchi is the controller of your personal data for Predict Sport. Contact us at info@predictsport.app about anything in this policy.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and password. We store the password only as a salted hash, never in readable form.
- Consents: when you confirmed you're 18 or older and accepted our Terms, and which version.
- Subscription: your Stripe customer ID, subscription status and renewal date. You enter card details directly into Stripe's payment form; they never reach our servers.
- Security: your IP address and email address are counted briefly to limit repeated sign-in, sign-up and checkout attempts. These counters expire within an hour and are deleted within a day.
- Cancellations: what you enter on the cancellation page (email, name, type of cancellation, reason, requested date) and when we received it.
- Server logs: our hosting provider records basic request information such as IP address, browser and page requested.
We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
Why we use it
- To provide your account and subscription (performance of our contract with you).
- To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation).
- To protect the service against fraud, abuse and attacks (our legitimate interest in keeping it secure).
Cookies
We use one cookie, kine-session, which keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It's strictly necessary for the service to work. On the pricing and checkout pages, Stripe sets its own cookies to prevent fraud; see Stripe's privacy policy.
Who we share it with
- Stripe processes payments. It also acts as an independent controller for its own fraud-prevention and legal obligations.
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Neon hosts our database, in the EU.
Predictions are generated by AI providers (Anthropic and Google) from sports data only. We never send them your personal data. We don't sell your data.
International transfers
Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, transfers are protected by safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
- Account and subscription data: until you delete your account.
- When you delete your account, we delete your account record and your customer profile at Stripe. Records of past payments are kept by Stripe for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Security counters: expire within an hour and are deleted within a day.
- Cancellation records: kept as proof of your cancellation until the end of the third year after it was made (the standard limitation period in Germany), even if you delete your account.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. You can delete your account yourself at any time from the Account page. For anything else, email info@predictsport.app. You can also complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live.
Children
The service is only for people aged 18 or over.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the app.
